JATCO announces Management and Organizational Changes

Fuji, Japan – JATCO Ltd announces the following management and organizational changes effective October 1, 2024.

  1. Newly establish the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Office as an organization directly reporting to the President.
  2. Tatsuya Osone, Corporate Vice President, now has the responsibilities of the CTO Office.

Purpose of establishing the CTO Office and its role

  • Purpose: To maintain and improve our competitiveness in the future as a manufacturing company, we need to unify our technological direction and value judgments as a whole company and make prompt proposals and decisions. For this purpose, we will establish an organization that covers not only the realm of development but all areas of technological development, including production, purchasing, and new businesses, making proposals as management strategies.
  • Role: The CTO Office determines and selects technologies to achieve the company’s goals from a mid- to long-term perspective based on the latest technological trends. The CTO Office then links these technologies to management, new businesses, and new products, to generate new innovations and to create value.
