Under the theme of “JATCO Future Vision”, JATCO’s booth will highlight the value provided by the company’s ever-evolving products in the past, present, and future, featuring the CVT as a leading product. This year—in which the company reached milestones such as achieving global cumulative AT/CVT production of 100 million units* and celebrating 50 years of step AT production and 20 years of CVT production—JATCO will utilize the event to showcase the “F06A”, the company’s first CVT model as well as the world’s first 2-liter-class steel belt CVT (1997), an innovation which contributed to the global popularization of the CVT, and the “JF011E”, a CVT for medium FWD vehicles whose cumulative production surpasses 10 million units. Furthermore, the company will display the “Jatco CVT7”, “Jatco CVT8”, and “Jatco CVT8 HYBRID” from its current lineup, and by means of a video will present its vision of future mobility and how the role of transmission will realize this vision.
*Includes step ATs and CVTs produced at predecessor companies (Nissan’s Yoshiwara Plant and Japan Automatic Transmission Co., Ltd.)
