JATCO to participate in the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2011
JATCO Ltd (Headquartered in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan: president
& CEO, Shigeo Ishida: Capitalization, 29.9353 billion yen), Automatic
Transmissions and Continuously Variable Transmissions (AT/CVT) manufacturer,
will exhibit its products in the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2011,
organized by Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE), to be held
at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall from May 18 to May 20, 2011 (3
days).
Focusing on the theme gThe Fuel-Efficient ECO-TRANSMISSION Contributing to CO2 Reduction Worldwideh JATCO, the worldfs leading producer of CVTs (Continuously Variable Transmission), will exhibit the worldfs first CVT with an auxiliary gearbox?winner of The 61st JSAE Technological Development Award?in addition to a full line-up of CVTs from mini vehicles to 3.5 liter class large vehicles and Transmission for hybrid vehicles, the newly developed 4-speed AT for small FWD vehicles, and will introduce the superior environmental performance of transmission. The booth will also display an interactive technology display, allowing attendees to learn about the actuation mechanism of the belt CVT. Furthermore, efforts have been taken the conserve energy at the booth, such as switching completely to LED for all lighting fixtures and abolishing the use of backlit name boards.
JATCO will continue to carry out all kinds of technological development
for CVT and AT to contribute to providing users with improved fuel efficiency
and a more comfortable driving performance, including research and development
for the improvement of performance, the optimal synchronization between
transmissions and engines, and the development of lighter and more compact
units.
