JATCO to Participate in "The 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009"

JATCO Ltd (President & CEO: Shigeo Ishida; JATCO Headquarters: Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan; Capital: 29935.3 million yen), specialized maker of automatic transmissions (AT/CVT), will exhibit its products at gThe 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009h to be held at Makuhari Messe from Friday, October 23, 2009.

Focusing on the theme gJATCO, CVT for Environment,h JATCO, the world's leading producer of CVTs (continuously variable transmission), will exhibit the worldfs first CVT with an auxiliary gearbox in addition to a full line-up of belt CVTs from mini vehicles to 3.5 liter class large vehicles, and will introduce the superior environmental performance of the CVT. The booth will display an operating principle model, which enables attendees to learn about the actuation mechanism of the belt CVT.

JATCO will also exhibit its newly-developed transmission for hybrid vehicles which is based on the 7-speed AT for FR vehicles, as well as JATCOfs leading products such as the 7-speed AT for FR vehicles and the 6-speed AT for FF vehicles.

JATCO will conduct daily presentations during the duration of the motor show to have attendees gain an in-depth understanding of the next generation CVT and the newly-developed transmission for hybrid vehicles.
