An inauguration ceremony to celebrate the completion of a new plant was held in the Yagi area on October 11.  Expanded CVT production capacity is being advanced in the Yagi area and the ceremony was held and the new plant unveiled along with the start of medium-size CVT production.

The new model PAJERO released by Mitsubishi Motors on October 4, 2006, is equipped with our 5-speed AT for midium and large RWD vehicles (3.8L) and 4-speed AT for midium and large RWD vehicles (3.0L).

The new model OTTI released by Nissan Motor on October 3, 2006, is equipped with our 4-speed AT for mini and 1-liter class FWD vehicles and 3-speed AT for mini FWD vehicles.

Production of the 4-speed AT for mini and 1-liter class FWD vehicles (model JF405E) has reached a cumulative total production of 3 million units.
This was achieved in about eight years after the start of production in the Kakegawa area (Tanyo, Kakegawa city, Shizuoka Prefecture) in July 1998.
